Dog owners can apply for their pet's 2024 licence using a new online service.
Doglicences.je has been set up as an alternative to paper applications at parish halls.
Constable Mike Jackson, head of the constables' committee, says it only takes a few minutes and users will also receive an email reminder when it's time to renew next year.
"The online system provides a simple, streamlined experience to apply and pay for a dog licence. It takes only a few minutes. There’s no need to create an account or remember a password – access to the system and your dog licence details is by ‘magic link’.
Paper applications will, of course, continue to be accepted but we hope the new service, built by Blue Llama, will reduce barriers to creating and renewing licences and increase parishioner satisfaction."
Every dog needs a £10 licence, and it has to be paid before the end of January.
