Islanders who are eligible for an autumn Covid booster will begin receiving them from next week.
Over 75s can book theirs from today (5 September).
The jabs will be available to over 65s from 26 September (bookable from 19 September)
It's also being offered to care home residents, health and care workers and people who are immunosuppressed or who live with someone who is.
Bookings are being opened in priority groups.
Director of Public Health, Professor Peter Bradley, says those who are eligible for the vaccine should get it, to protect themselves from the virus over the winter months.
"Vaccination remains the best way to protect yourselves and others against COVID-19 and protects against severe disease which is more likely with increasing age.
“We are closely monitoring the new variant, and although there are no concerns as yet, it could contribute to an increased risk of infection. I encourage those eligible to book at gov.je/wintervaccines as soon as possible.”
