Jersey's incoming ferry operator, DFDS, now says it hopes to announce its schedule on Monday 23 December.
The Danish ferry firm says it "understands the importance of timely and accurate information for islanders" and is still working on the schedules.
The company previously said its 2025 timetable would be published by the end of this week.
In a statement released on Friday night, the company said: "DFDS is still working on the schedules for Jersey, and expect to be able to provide more details on Monday.
"We understand the importance of timely and accurate information for islanders and we want to ensure that we create schedules that respond to the needs of the island."
DFDS' website now allows prospective passengers to register their interest in sailings to Jersey and be notified as soon as the schedule is finalised.
