Three fire engines were called out to a shop fire in Grouville this morning.
It happened this morning at Verona Stores on La Grande Route Des Sablons, with emergency services called at 7:41am.
A fire crew of 16 tackled the blaze, including on-call firefighters.
One person was treated for shock and minor smoke inhalation by paramedics.
Officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
