Emergency services where called to a home on Trinity Hill this afternoon (30 January) after a fire broke out in a bedroom.
The road was closed around 3pm as the Fire Service dealt with the incident.
Eight crew were sent to the home and were met with smoke coming from an upstairs window.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the home and put out the flames.
No injuries have been reported and Trinity Hill has since reopened.
