GCSE Results Are Out!

24.5% of Jersey pupil's 2019 GCSE grades were 7 to 9 and A or A star.

It's the third year that results have been graded in this way to better differentiate between students of different abilities.

Nationally, there has been a slight increase in the pass rate and the number getting top marks.

20.8% scored one of the top three grades.

Schools locally opened early so young people could find out how they have done in the exams.

The overall pass rate in Jersey was 97.9%.

73.5% of results were at Grade C or 4 and above.

Beaulieu has reported that a quarter of all exams have achieved the equivalent of A*-A.

JCG says 65% of all its grades were A*-A (9-7) and the same percentage of students achieved 5 or more 9-7 grades.
