A gas worker will face a retrial in connection with the fatal Haut du Mont explosion in 2022.
In a hearing at the Royal Court, Lee Ward, 59, was told that he will face another trial, charged with ten counts of gross negligence manslaughter.
A jury previously failed to reach a majority verdict following a five-and-a-half week trial.
Mr Ward's former colleagues, Neil Armstrong and John Wright, were found guilty of the same charges last week.
Island Energy was also found guilty of two counts of breaching the health and safety law.
Sentencing will take place between 26 and 29 January 2027.
The States Employment Board will also be sentenced at that time, after pleading guilty to two charges under the Health and Safety at Work Law.
