At Haute Vallee, Channel 103 spoke to students pleased with how they had done.
"I have passed practically all of them, and I am really happy! Most of the ones I thought I wouldn't pass, I passed, so it's just a weight off my shoulders."
"Very happy and relieved. I was so stressed out I was shaking!"
16 year old Alfie told us he is going on to supported Sixth Form.
"The plan is to do Pathways at Highlands, and (see) if I need to re-sit them again, but I am really happy with them... then to try and get a job with how well I have done."
Headteacher Stuart Hughes said results day is always a lovely moment:
"You realise how hard it is for some, and how much effort they put in, and you can see that on their faces today.
"Also, it is not just about the results. "You see them grow over the years and turn into strong individuals. (I'm just) remarkably proud of what they have achieved."
At Le Rocquier, Head Andrew Adkin said students had achieved 'outstanding success'
"Many have achieved beyond their expectations, and you could hear the screams of delight and joy from the car park this morning.
"Our students showed tremendous resilience and determination towards their exams, and we are proud of each and every one of them."
At Hautlieu, interim Headteacher Katie Blackhall, congratulated the class of 2026 for excellent results.
"We are incredibly proud of their academic success, as well as their achievements in sport, the arts, leadership and wider school life. They have made a valued contribution to the Hautlieu school community and have much to celebrate today."
JCG said it had been a 'exceptional' year for results.
JCG reported students had averaged a grade 7 (A) across all examinations, with more than one in five at grade 9.
Carl Howarth, Principal of Jersey College for Girls said: "These results are a wonderful achievement for our students and reflect years of hard work, determination and commitment.
"We are immensely proud of every student, not simply because of the grades they have achieved, but because of the personal growth, resilience and character they have demonstrated throughout their journey."
Victoria College is celebrating a record year for top grades
Victoria College said its pupils had received a record number of grades 9 and 8, accounting for almost a third of all grades awarded, and that 71% were grades 9-6, the highest proportion in five years.
Headteacher, Dr Gareth Hughes, said:
"Behind every result lies hard work, perseverance and personal growth, and I am absolutely delighted to see this cohort rewarded for their efforts in these record-breaking results.
"While the overall outcomes are fantastic, what matters most is the progress made by individuals across the grade range and that their personal expectations have been exceeded in so many cases. I am immensely proud of this year group."

Beaulieu says more than 20% of all grades were 9-8, while 89% of students secured at least five grades 9-4, including English and Maths.
Matthew Burke, Headteacher, described results day as a special moment:
"Year 11 is a stepping stone towards whatever comes next, and we are looking forward to welcoming our students back into Sixth Form in September, alongside young people joining us from other schools. We are proud of the opportunities we offer post-16 and excited to see our student begin their next chapter."
Skills Jersey has tips and advice for any students who are unsure about the next steps:
Grainville says it had the best results since before COVID:
"Our students should feel very proud of their achievements in both their academic and vocational courses, some of which we run in partnership with Highlands College.
Over the last five years we have watched each and every student grow from a child into the fine young adult that we see today. We are so proud of them and their successes, working so hard and persevering through some difficult times in their education and we pay tribute to them today."
Education Minister Deputy Catherine Curtis said:
“I congratulate everyone who has received their GCSE and other equivalent qualifications results today. Your effort, determination, and commitment in reaching this milestone have been deservedly recognised. I also want to thank teachers, support staff, parents, and carers, who all play a pivotal role in your journey. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do next and encourage you to seize the opportunities you are presented with.”
The Careers Guidance team at Skills Jersey are available to offer advice on next steps for everyone receiving results today. Students who would like to talk through results, young people or parents and guardians can book a careers appointment online with the Careers Guidance team or by calling 01534 449 440 or emailing skillsjersey@gov.je.
