Jersey's Siena Stephens gets Supertri wildcard

After competing with just two hour's notice in 2025, Siena Stephens as been awarded a wildcard for this year's Supertri Pro Series Final.

The Jersey triathlete will get another chance to race alongside some of the sport's best in front of a home crowd.

She was called up at just two hour's notice last year, after a late withdrawal from the race.

Despite the late entry, which came after she had just completed the 10K RBC Race for Kids a short distance from the Supertri start line,  she described it as a 'fairytale' to race alongside Olympic medallists and some of her sporting inspirations such as Georgia Taylor-Brown and Emma Jeffcoat.

Michael D’hulst, CEO and Co-Founder of Supertri, said:

“Siena did an incredible job last year, especially when you consider that she had run 10k that morning and had very little time to prepare herself to race against some of the best triathletes in the world.

“We’re delighted to offer her a wildcard for the Supertri Pro Series Final and give her another opportunity to race in front of her home crowd. She is exactly the kind of young athlete we want Supertri to inspire, and I’m sure there will be plenty of aspiring Jersey triathletes watching her on the start line and thinking that one day it could be them.”

Siena finished second at the British Triathlon National Championships in 2024, ending the season ranked fifth nationally, and previously represented Jersey at the Youth Commonwealth Games, finishing fifth in the individual event before winning bronze in the mixed team relay.

She won five medals in swimming and tri at the 2023 Island Games, including gold in the mixed triathlon relay.

Siena is now studying Psychology at Loughborough University, where she is part of its high-performance triathlon environment.

The women’s field includes reigning Supertri champion and last year’s Jersey winner Jeanne Lehair, Olympic champion Cassandre Beaugrand, Georgia Taylor-Brown and former European champion Jolien Vermeylen.
