Les Quennevais Sports Centre is celebrating turning 30.
The sports venue, which first opened its doors on 27 May 1996, is marking its birthday with a fitness challenge, with all money raised going to Les Amis.
Rob Marett has worked for Active for over 30 years and is a long-serving member of staff at Les Quennevais Sports Centre.
Rob said:
"I remember when this place opened - run by a wonderful manager, the first manager of Les Quennevais Sports Centre, Angie de Carteret, she still comes up and swims with us now, I swam with her in the Swimarathon this year, and it just shows you the great spirit of the staff that we've had and the public - it's a place to be!
"Things have moved on greatly! You've had so many advances in both lifeguarding techniques and the equipment we use. For example, the chlorination of the pools, we use far less than we did 30 years ago!

"We now have the skate park outside, we have the new CV room, free weights area where the bar used to be 30 years ago!
"This place has been basically my life. I've spent 36 years working in this industry and the bonds we build with customers over the years, you've seen their kids grow up, you've seen them have kids, you've taught from generation to generation and its a wonderful thing to see people enjoying themselves!
