The Lido café and bar at Jersey's Havre des Pas will pause trading next weekend (6 December).
The operators say they have no choice, because of the uncertainly over the future running of the bathing pool.
The announcement was made earlier, in a post on the Lido's social media accounts:
It says the venue - run by Marcus and Ana Calvani - will close on 6 December. Their current operating licence is due to end on Christmas Day.
An independent review is underway into the tender process.
A debate in Jersey's parliament has twice been postponed.
This week, Deputy David Warr deferred his request for the selection of a private management company, First Point, to run the outdoor pool to be scrapped pending the outcome of the review.
He is backing a community group called Love Our Lido to take it on as a charitable organisation.
