Police want help to identify a man involved in an assault outside the newsagents on Newgate Street in St Helier.
Officers say a man was hit twice - once in the chest and once in the face- by someone he didn't know.
It happened at around 4pm last Tuesday afternoon (30 January).
The suspect is described as wearing a light grey beanie hat and bright red waterproof jacket.
He might have been holding a water bottle at the time.
"Anyone who may have seen this assault or can aid in identifying this person are asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at Crimestoppers-uk.org."
