A man was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in the early hours of Monday morning (14 November).
The man, in his thirties, was knocked down by a dark maroon-coloured vehicle along the Greve D'Azette coast road.
It happened just after midnight, between the White Horse Pub and Victor Hugo flats.
The driver stopped briefly before then driving off towards St Helier.
The pedestrian was taken to A&E to be checked over, but has not suffered any injuries. Police are appealing for witnesses.
Officers are looking to speak with anybody who might have any information to identify the vehicle and driver involved.
"Anyone who may have seen this or who has any information is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org"
