Jersey Christmas Tree Experience is recycling several hundred Christmas trees for a Guinness World Record attempt.
The team is being challenged to create the largest display of illuminated trees in Howard Davis Park.
Imperfect and wonky Christmas trees that cannot be sold to people as decorations have been reused and recycled for the project.
Jersey Christmas Tree Experience wanted to rescue them from their supplier in the UK as they would have otherwise been shredded.
The walkthrough will be 30 metres by 25 metres.
Bino Rodriguez, one of the organisers, says the atmosphere brings great warmth.
"For the World Record, they have to be illuminated.
It's going to be very magical, especially when you're walking through 800-plus trees."
The all-American town of Shelton in Washington state, known as 'Christmastown', is famous for its 2019 Guinness World Record-holding Christmas tree maze during the Festival of the Firs.
Out of the 815 trees, 797 qualified for the World Record attempt.
Jersey Christmas Tree Experience has reached out to the team at Guinness World Records in the hopes they can get the event certified.
"When you smell that pine, it does make you feel Christmassy.
Smelling the trees and smelling the food, walking through the experience will make you feel that little bit warmer this Christmas."
Tickets for the event, spanning from 10 to 24 December, can be bought online.
