The marathon begins at 9am from the Weighbridge, with over 2,000 runners taking on the 26.2 miles.
More than 40% of those on the start line today (5 October) have travelled to the island for the race.
In addition to the full course, there is a relay race starting at 9.30 am, and the Marathon Mile - popular with children and families - at 10 am.

Commonwealth Games triathlete Ollie Turner is returning to Jersey for the race to compete on home soil for the first time since the 2021 Super League Triathlon.
The full-time athlete is targeting a spot at the 2025 World Ironman Championships in Hawaii, and says a run over 26.2 miles will add to his resilience.
Turner is a member of Jersey Sport's Performance Sport Programme, and says he is looking forward to soaking up the event’s community atmosphere:
“I’ve not competed in any sport in Jersey for a few years, so that is something I’m really looking forward to.
“The support around the Jersey Marathon course is always amazing and whatever the result I know it’ll be worth the pain.”
