More than 100 works of art made by Jersey prisoners have gone on show at the Harbour Gallery.
It's part of the 'Inside Out Exhibition', which is now in its 11th year.
Prison art teacher, Lucy Blackmore, says creative hobbies have benefits for inmates.
"There's a very therapeutic side of producing artwork and being able to express yourself creatively when maybe sometimes verbally can be a bit more challenging.
"I think there's a lot can be gained from learning that hard work really pays off. The more that you put into a piece of artwork, often the more that you get out of it."
The exhibition was opened on Thursday (14th March) by Home Affairs Minister Constable Len Norman and will stay open until Sunday 24th March.
Some of the work will be put up for sale, with money raised going to the Jersey Samaritans and Rock2Recovery initiative.
Constable Norman wants people to support their work.
"In previous years, the exhibition has been well supported by friends, family and the community, and I encourage people to come and see the creative work that is taking place at the prison.
"It gives prisoners an opportunity to raise money for community charities and showcase the good work they do while in custody."
