Islanders have reported hearing another mystery loud bang in the night, the second this week.
Scores of people have taken to social media to remark on hearing the noise in the early hours of the morning.
"Did anyone else hear a very loud explosion at around 2am near town?"
"I know it was so scary! No clue what happened but it was so loud near me on Old St John’s road

The timing of the noise is later in the night than a crash on St John's Road, where a car ended up on its side overhanging a boundary wall.
On Monday, Jersey Fire and Rescue and Island Energy gas engineers attended reports of a loud bang and odour on Pier Road.
Nothing was found.
