Students at St George's School are pledging to do 70 good deeds to mark 70 years of the Queen's reign.
That includes volunteering with local charities, running activities for younger students and writing thank you letters to key workers.
The pupils are working in their classes to plan activities that will benefit other people.
Headteacher Cormac Timothy says the Jubilee brings a good opportunity for everyone to come together as a community in the spirit of 'kindness, resilience, achievement and responsibility' - the school's values:
"Pupils themselves will suggest and organise their good deeds with the help and support of their form tutors, and we will be reaching out to community groups in the coming weeks.
We want to look back at this project with pride, knowing that we did good things that truly benefitted others and had a lasting effect, as well as allowing us to work together with our classmates and fellow pupils which is something we’ve all missed very much."
The school is also offering out its grounds for community groups to use. Mr Timothy says any group who may want to use the space during the spring and summer months should get in touch.
