Three men in an inflatable dinghy have been rescued by the St Catherine lifeboat.
The crew was called out yesterday afternoon when the trio reported being carried away bu the wind and tide off the north coast.
They had launched from Bonne Nuit to do some fishing but weren't able to make their way back to the harbour with just their oars.
They were quickly located by the inshore lifeboat, taken onboard and returned to the bay.
“We would like to take this opportunity to remind all recreational boaters to ensure that they have the right equipment for the activity planned, to know their capabilities and have a means to communicate and the correct safety equipment on board." - Steve Luce, Deputy Launching Authority for RNLI Jersey.
