Tickets for a new inter-islands ferry service are expected to go on sale on Wednesday (19 March)
Islands Unlimited intends to operate twice daily foot-passenger sailings between Guernsey and Jersey from June, with three crossings a day at weekends.
The new company says it is in the final stages of preparing its online booking system.
Managing Director, Chad Murray said “We have been delighted with all of the enquiries about our service, which shows really promising up-take for this coming season.
"We would like to thank everyone for their enquires and patience whilst we go through the final stages of testing and confirming arrangements with stakeholders in both islands”.
Guernsey's government gave Islands Unlimited £150,000 to get it up and running.
Jersey’s government said it was not asked to provide funding, something Mr Murray has disputed.
There has been uncertainty around inter-islands sea travel since Jersey and Guernsey took separate decisions over the operator of its ferry service contracts, with Guernsey choosing Brittany Ferries and Jersey opting for DFDS.
The move ends decades of a joint Channel Islands/UK/France service by Condor Ferries, which concludes on 27 March.
Brittany Ferries announced in January that it would run one mid-week Guernsey-Jersey crossing. More than 3,000 bookings have been made since tickets went on sale on 19 February.
DFDS is still yet to announce a service on the route.
Guernsey's States says it last met with officials about a reciprocal service on 7 March. Economic Development Committee President Deputy Neil Inder said:
"I continue to wait to receive any clarity from Jersey on exactly what their proposed reciprocal inter-Island service will be, including what days and times they propose to sail, and when tickets will be available to book”.
