British Airways passengers, travelling from Jersey to Heathrow before 12pm, can now drop hold luggage the evening before they travel.
The 'Twilight Bag Drop' will operate every day from 4:30pm to 8pm.
Jersey Airport says it means passengers can avoid the morning rush at check-in and head straight to departures.
Jamie Loudon, Head of Terminal and Transformation at Jersey Airport, said:
"Twilight Bag Drop is about making travel easier and more convenient for our customers.
"By giving passengers, the option to check in and drop off their hold luggage the evening before travel, it provides greater flexibility and removes part of the airport journey from the day of departure.
"Customers can arrive at the airport knowing their bags have already been processed, giving them more time to relax and focus on the start of their trip."
Passengers using this service can also use the complimentary 30-minute parking in the airport's long stay car park when dropping off their hold luggage the evening before departure.
The airport says there are plans to expand the service to more airlines, destinations, and selected charter operations as more carriers join the programme.
Passengers who use the service are still asked to arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure, or 90 minutes before red-eye flights.
