Guernsey's airline has added Bastia in Corsica to its list of summer getaways and says it has the capacity to do so around its normal schedule.
The airline is to operate the service to the Mediterranean island on occasional Saturdays between May and September.
Its chief commercial officer, Sudeep Ghai, says the four summer destinations are popular with passengers.
“Our survey of islanders reaffirmed Alicante, Nice and Porto's popularity, thus making a comeback for the summer season. We're also delighted to be able to deliver the most demanded destination, and a first for Aurigny, Bastia in beautiful Corsica, for the peak summer season.
"At Aurigny, we remain committed to enhancing direct access to and from Guernsey while delivering dependable lifeline services to and from the UK.”
The airline had to suspend its summer timetable for several weeks last year due to issues with lease aircraft and spares availability.
It is assuring customers it has the capacity to serve its key UK routes this year without disruption.
Those amount to more than 3,500 flights whereas the summer routes take up just 38.
Aurigny says it is scheduling these getaways for Saturday afternoons, with an aircraft and crew that that would not otherwise have been used.
Its on time departures statistics have also improved with 91% of flights in February departing within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
