A major effort continues to trace the source of Legionella bacteria and then stop it happening again.
Beau Sejour is closed for the fourth consecutive day following the discovery of Legionella bacteria in the water system.
The States say that a major effort continues to trace the source.
Special filters are on order to fit to the system to prevent any further issues but these have yet to arrive.
The decision has been taken to keep Beau Sejour closed tomorrow (Saturday 19 September) and to give a further update later on in the day.
A Tina Turner tribute gig scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled and there is a question mark over Sunday’s dog show.
Reassuringly, the States say that no one has contracted Legionnaires disease to date.
Anyone who has used the Centre's showers in the past two weeks is asked to see their GP if they have respiratory symptoms and a fever as this may indicate the disease.
