People told to keep limiting use by not watering lawns or cleaning cars with tap water.
On the day that Thames Water has introduced a hosepipe ban for the home counties, Guernsey Water says it does not intend to do so at present.
That could change of course if the current unsettled spell gives way to more dry, hot weather, like the spring and early summer.
In a lengthy post on Facebook, the utility praises islanders getting behind the water-saving message and not wasting purified water on their lawns, shrubs and cars.
But the threat of restrictions has not gone away yet.
The deficit last week was 51 million litres - that is the gap between what was stored and what was used.
Reservoir levels are 4.5% below the 10-year average, which is about two weeks of use.
The utility says it will now post water use stats every two weeks, the next being in early August.
