Overseas Aid says it is monitoring the situation closely.
The collapse of a glacier one week ago wreaked huge devastation on Nepal and neighbouring Tibet with more than one thousand people known to have died and many more thousands missing.
Jersey is sending £200,000 to the British Red Cross to help with the aid effort.
The political head of Guernsey's Overseas Aid and Development Commission, deputy Jennifer Strachan, says they are not at that stage yet:
"The Overseas Aid and Development Commission has received a number of enquiries regarding potential Disaster and Emergency Relief Awards in response to this crisis and is currently considering these requests.
“No decisions have been made at this stage, but the Commission is communicating by email to be able to quickly respond to these funding requests as we continue to monitor the situation closely.
"Our thoughts and sympathies are with all those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal and Tibet, and we recognise the immense human suffering and hardship being experienced by communities across the region."
