Island FM is delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Fotheringham as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
Tom officially joins the Guernsey radio station, part of the Tindle Group, as Chairman this week.
Tom replaces Danny Cammiade who is stepping down from the role but will remain a Non Executive Director.
Danny who is Deputy Chair and CEO of the Tindle Group said, ” We are really looking forward to Tom leading the board.
“He’s a local man with a broad range of commercial experience which will be a real benefit to the board and wider executive team.
“I am delighted to welcome Tom to the Company.
“Island FM is a hugely successful radio station that has been serving the bailiwick of Guernsey since 1992.
“It has been an exciting time for the business with a £1million investment into our new broadcast centre in the heart of St Peter Port.”
Recent RAJAR audience figures (RAJAR/Ipsos RSL Q1 2025) confirmed Island FM as both the most listened-to radio station in Guernsey and the biggest in the British Isles by market share.
St Peter Port resident Tom Fotheringham has held a number of roles at organisations including Specsavers, Sage and DFDS.

“I’ve been an Island FM listener for the last few years and have been impressed by the station’s output and community involvement.
“I look forward to working closely with the local management team and wider Tindle group to help drive Island FM forward.”
Island FM is owned and operated by Tindle CI Broadcasting which also owns Channel 103 in Jersey, pan-island classic hits service Soleil Radio, as well as Midlands 103 and South East Radio in Ireland.
