Police are investigating after a barbecue was stolen from a garden in St Saviour.
It was taken from outside the home on the Les Islets estate sometime between 6pm and 6:30pm last Friday (29 April).
Officers say a table in the garden was damaged during the incident.
Guernsey Police say they have 'received information' that a firework may have been lit inside the barbeque before it was abandoned in an 'unknown field' nearby.
Anyone with information is asked to call 01481 222222 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
