A number of Covid restrictions in Guernsey's schools are being lifted.
In primary schools, staff will no longer need to wear a face covering and classroom bubbles will become larger, year group bubbles.
Bubbles are being scrapped ended in secondary and post-16 settings.
School-run extra-curricular activities are permitted again, as are day trips and visits withing the island.
Staggered start and finish times are no longer necessary.
The measures were re-introduced on 16 March after a dramatic rise in cases over recent weeks.
Education, Sport and Culture has relaxed them again because of improving staffing levels.
"Parents/carer should have already received information from their child’s setting about how this updated guidance will be put into effect at their school. Based on the updated guidance, which gives flexibility to schools to adapt based on their current circumstances, not all settings will operate in exactly the same way." - ESC statement.
The government will publish the latest weekly Covid-19 infection figures later today (29 March).
