IslandFM's Holly Brown took part in a trial of an electric bus.
The States, CT Plus and Pelican Engineering, a West Yorkshire-based transport company have imported a Yutong bus to the island.
They are currently test-driving the electric bus around all of Guernsey's 24 bus routes to see how it handles tight corners.
The trial was first announced on Thursday.
