A dog has died after being hit by a vehicle in St Clement this morning.
A woman was walking two dogs along the beach by the Ambassador Hotel at around 6:20am when one of the dogs, a black Labrador, ran up the stairs onto the road.
The dog was found a fair distance along the road sometime later. Jersey Police are appealing for the driver and anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
