Towering poppies, foxgloves and lilies are blooming at the library as part of a new exhibition and full programme of themed events.
The handcrafted flowers are made by award-winning Siberian floral artist Svitlana.
They are on loan to the library from Jersey Finance as part of their exhibition 'Unearthed'.
'Unearthed' is about gardening, the history of gardening and its benefits, as well as wildlife, biology, and conservation.
It is part of The British Library's 'Living Knowledge Network' - a partnership between the British Library and other Libraries around the UK.
"As part of the network, we get an exhibition or display which links in with a major exhibition with the British Library.
"We put it up early because we got the flowers - these beautiful amazing creations tie in perfectly with the exhibition, we've had so many comments, people absolutely love them.
"We've got poetry and photography competitions, different talks, quizzes, laser cutting to make plant markers, needle felting and flower press workshops."
The display on the power of gardening will be up throughout June and July.
Creator Svitlana says she has projects in Jersey, but Germany and Poland:
"Seeing my work travel and touch new people has been incredibly rewarding."
