It can now be reported that Island Energy was found guilty earlier this year of breaching the health and safety law, following a house explosion in St Saviour in June 2024.
Reporting restrictions were put in place throughout and after the trial, but they have now been lifted.
The 2024 blast destroyed the back of a property in Elizabeth Villas, leaving the parents of two young children trapped under rubble.
The parents needed hospital treatment, with their children, aged 2 and 5, escaping unharmed.
19 other residents and neighbours had to be evacuated.

Jersey's Royal Court heard that Island Energy failed to properly disconnect redundant gas pipes at Elizabeth Villas, allowing gas to accumulate inside the property, which caused the blast.
The company was convicted under the Health and Safety Law, following a five-day trial, for failing in its duty to ensure public safety.
Island Energy has also been found guilty of two counts of breaching the health and safety law in connection with the Haut du Mont explosion, which happened in December 2022 and killed ten people.
