Jersey's Chief Minister has described her ministers as a 'strong team' of talent who 'discuss and challenge' and are 'united in their determination to do the best for islanders'.

Deputy Kristina Moore has made the comments in a video to mark one year since her Council of Ministers was formed.

She used the address to outline some of what she says her government has achieved in its first 12 months.

Deputy Moore has promised further action on housing, jobs and protecting the environment.

She has also written a blog where she says:

"When I stood as a candidate both for Deputy and Chief Minister, I made a promise to deliver change, to listen to the voices of the public and to engage on the topics that matter to you. In fact, one of my greatest pleasures in this role is in meeting Islanders to listen to their stories and better understand their thoughts, ideas, and issues."

Ministers are at St Peter's Parish Hall today (11 July) 12.30 - 1.30 to speak to people and hear what issues they have.
