A seventeen year old boy was punched and knocked unconscious in a fight.
Police say it happened near McDonald's on Hilgrove Street at around 6.40pm on Monday (1st April)
The teenager sustained a cut above his right eye and needed hospital treatment.
He is described as 5'7" of slender build and was wearing a dark-coloured sweater and grey jogging bottoms.
Officers say it is possible that the suspect knew his victim. They want to speak to anyone who saw what happened.
Anyone who may have seen this or who has any information is asked to contact police on 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at Crimestoppers-uk.org
