Input from islanders who rent their home is needed as politicians review proposed changes to Jersey's tenancy laws.
The Environment, Housing, and Infrastructure Scrutiny Panel is calling for the views of tenants as part of its review into the Housing Minister's proposed amendments to the Residential Tenancy Law.
Last month, Deputy Sam Mezec unveiled what he called ' the biggest overhaul of the legislation in more than a decade' - suggesting some rent controls, limiting the use of fixed-term contracts and reintroducing a rents tribunal to improve protections for tenants.
The scrutiny panel is examining whether the minister has got it right and is asking people to complete a short survey, to get their views on how they think the changes will impact them.

The panel has started receiving submissions from the public and landlords, and has written to a large number of stakeholders to ask for their views.
Panel members will also be in the Central Market at lunchtime on 1 May, to listen to the views of the public.
The survey is being translated into Portuguese and there will be two sessions with the Portuguese community in May with a translator able to assist the panel.
The panel will hold a Public Hearing with the Housing Minister on 7 May.
