Airline enters a new era as an independent company under the Virgin brand with the name Virgin Connect.
.The airline was recently bought by Connect Airways which is made up of Cyprus Capital, Stobart Group and Virgin Atlantic.
Flybe is Europe's largest regional airline and flies more UK domestic flights than any other airline.
Mark Anderson, Connect Airways CEO said: “We are hugely excited by this milestone in our airline’s 40-year history. #
"At its heart, Virgin Connect will offer travel that is simple and convenient with the personal touch.
"From here on in, we invite our customers, partners and the communities we serve to join us on every step of this exciting journey.”
Virgin Connect say they will reflect the innovation and entrepreneurship of Virgin’s wider holiday brands, putting its customers at the heart and driving better value.
We're told this marks the beginning of Flybe’s journey with an overall re-brand scheduled to be completed next year.
