Lieutenant General Sir Alexander Boswell KCB, CBE has passed away aged 93.
Sir Boswell served as Guernsey's Lieutenant-Governor between 1985 and 1990.
Known as Sir Sandy, he introduced the cadet scheme which is still running today.
Sir Boswell died at his home on Saturday morning (13 November).
His wife, Lady Boswell, predeceased him in 2018.
