Thousands expected to attend CI Pride at Guernsey's Bathing Pools

Organisers are promising 2026 CI Pride will be the "biggest celebration yet".

Guernsey and Jersey alternate hosting Pride each year.

This year's event marks the 10th anniversary and returns to Guernsey on Saturday 12 September.

To celebrate the milestone, organisers at Liberate are planning their biggest Pride yet.

Instead of finishing in Market Square, this year's Pride march will begin at the Rainbow Steps at 1pm before making its way to the Bathing Pools, with participants waving rainbow flags through St Peter Port.

The Vallette will be transformed into a festival site, with live music running until 9pm.

The line-up includes 90s dance star Angie Brown, drag performer Elle Vosque, the UK's leading Chappell Roan tribute act, Pink Pony, and more.

Jersey's LGBTQ+ choir will join Guernsey performers on stage.

Away from the main stage, the Pride Village will feature a silent disco, a family zone, a quiet space, community stalls, and food and drink vendors.

Liberate CEO Ellie Jones says the aim is to create a true festival atmosphere.

"We've outgrown our previous site and wanted to create something that felt more like a festival while keeping everything that makes Channel
Islands Pride so special.

"The Bathing Pools give us the opportunity to create different spaces, welcome even more people and make the most of one of the most beautiful locations in Guernsey.”
