The drive-through testing centre at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital has nearly doubled in size.
The testing tent has been extended by 4.5 metres.
The States of Guernsey Estates Team worked through the night on Sunday to increase capacity.
It means four more cars can be undercover at any one time and will improve the flow and efficiency through the swabbing tent.
Car Park C adjacent to the tent has been cordoned off to increase the queuing capacity.
We’re told the COVID-19 testing centre will now be able to take at least 1,000 swabs a day.
Guernsey's Scheduling and Swabbing teams are now working 8am -11pm with Pathology staff working late into the night to provide swab results as quickly as possible
