9,000 people are expected to fly out of Jersey Airport this weekend as the school half-term holidays begin.
42, 000 passengers will pass through arrivals and departures between now and next Sunday (1 June)
Destinations for holidaymakers include scheduled and charter flights to Palma, Vienna, Rotterdam, Munich, Paris, Faro, Zurich and Ibiza.
Airport bosses are advising anyone due to travel to leave plenty of time to check in hold luggage and pass through security.
Queues are possible at peak times.
Officials are also reminding travellers that the restriction on carrying liquids of more than 100ml remains in place, but people no longer need to remove them from their hand luggage at the scanners.
Passengers planning to park at the airport need to pre-book a space online to benefit from lower fees.
Additionally, people hoping to bring home edible souvenirs of their trip away are reminded there is currently a government ban on bringing meat and diary products from the EU for personal use.
