The government report reviewing other options for Jersey's new hospital has been delayed.
It was due out on 20 October.
Deputy Tom Binet, who is responsible for the Our Hospital Review, says it will now be presented to the States Assembly, and made public, on 1 November.
He says 'significant progress' has been made.
Ministers and officers have visited healthcare facilities in Northern Ireland to see what could be replicated here.
The panel has also been interviewing key stakeholders who have been involved in the project so far.
Topics of discussion have included clinical and operational needs, the condition of the current hospital, affordability and funding options.
"The panel has been working hard to research and explore all options thoroughly in accordance with the scope of the review as it is vital that we ensure new healthcare facilities meet the current and future needs of the Island and are viable in the current financial climate." - Deputy Tom BInet, Infrastructure Minister.
Deputy Binet has previously said the £800+ million plans for Overdale, which got planning permission in May, are 'no longer an option'.
The government review is looking again at the hospital remaining on the current Gloucester Street site. The building of more than 100 affordable homes in nearby Kensington Place has been halted,
Last month, Alan Moore was appointed Principal Expert Adviser to the government's hospital review.
The panel also includes Health Minister Deputy Karen Wilson, and her Assistant Minister Deputy Rose Binet.
