Primary school children across Jersey are being told to begin 'culinary exploration' as charity Caring Cooks prepares a new recipe book.
The charity is celebrating its 10th birthday by releasing the 'Kids in the Kitchen' cookbook, which will use 30 of the 'best and most creative' recipes from the island's primary school pupils.
They'll be joined by 20 other recipes from the charity's 'Let's Get Cooking Programme' and the 'Flourish' Primary school lunches.
Alice Read from sponsor Apex says she's proud of Caring Cooks and its work to empower young people in Jersey:
"By improving the younger generation’s understanding of nutrition and ways to reduce food waste, Caring Cooks are helping to drive positive change for a more sustainable future."
The recipe book will be illustrated by Genuine Jersey accredited artist Susan Lintell.
