A man has been detained by firearms officers for carrying a BB gun on King Street.
Jersey Police received a call at 4.00pm on Tuesday (18 June) about a man making threats of violence with a gun and acting suspiciously in a St Helier shop.
Firearms officers attended the scene, and found the suspect outside a shop in possession of a BB gun.
Police have confirmed a 43-year-old was arrested under the Firearms (Jersey) law and taken into custody,
