Two Jersey dads are running 50km around the island to help young dancers reach their World Cup finals next week.
Jake Mulholland and Blake Derbyshire are setting off from La Frégate Café at 10am today (6 July), and aim to finish within five hours.
They're raising money to support Team Jersey's journey to one of the world's most prestigious dance competitions.
The dancers and their families have spent months raising money to fund the trip to Dublin.
Jake's six-year-old daughter is the youngest member of Team Jersey and is the team's mascot.
Jake said:
"We wanted to set ourselves a challenge that would really push us physically while supporting an amazing group of children.
"Qualifying for the Dance World Cup Finals is a huge achievement. The dancers have spent countless hours training while balancing school and other commitments, showing incredible dedication and resilience.
"Seeing how hard both the dancers and their families have worked to raise money inspired us to do our part. Every donation helps give these children the opportunity to represent Jersey on the world stage, compete against some of the best young dancers in the world and create memories that will last a lifetime."
Blake added:
"The dance school does an incredible job of developing these young people, helping them grow in confidence, make lifelong friendships and achieve things they never thought possible. If running 50 kilometres helps make their dream a reality, every mile will be worth it."
The run will take the pair through St Aubin, St Brelade, St Ouen, St John, St Martin, Grouville, and St Clement, before returning to finish at La Frégate.
