The 2025 Island Walk stats are in, and organisers are calling it an 'incredible' year.
1,002 people took on the full 48-mile hike on Saturday (21 June) in temperatures that reached 32.4°C.
70% of walkers completed the route.

The first finisher, Matt Johnson, toured the island in an impressive time of 8 hours and 48 minutes.
The last person to be cheered to the finish collected their well-earned medal at quarter past midnight, after more than 21 hours on their feet.
The oldest finisher was 82 and the youngest just nine.

Among the walkers were seventeen firefighters in full kit.
16 crew did the relay and one - Marcin Mietelka - completed the entire route solo.
They've raised almost £4,000 and counting.
The total walk donations have exceeded £56,500.
